Building Winning Teams

Group dynamics are essential to the success of the team. This team building course will:  

  • Be preceded with a pre-consultation and tailoring process
  • Utilize activity-based learning experiences to highlight communication and teamwork essentials vital to success
  • Help teams work more effectively to achieve their business goals
  • Employ a follow-up session in approximately four weeks to reinforce the lessons learned

To facilitate means to make easy. This applies to communication, problem solving, planning or any number of business processes. This course introduces:  

  • Facilitation tools and techniques to guide and direct groups as they work together to accomplish various goals
  • Techniques ranging from classical brainstorming to the advanced “Appreciative Inquiry”
  • Valuable processes for anyone who is responsible for leading and directing group activities and meetings

Understanding Differences: Now We’re Talking

It is vital for team or group members to understand their individual preferences and differences. Diversity can be a great source of innovation and creativity. This training is designed for groups, especially leadership groups, wanting to become more effective in understanding, appreciating and successfully utilizing the various styles and preferences of their team members. This dynamic workshop will cover one of the following as chosen by the organization:  

  • Myers-Briggs Personality Types: Learn and understand the concept of personality types and how they apply to your own preferences and those of others; understand how individuals tend to focus and process information in different ways
  • DiSC Profiles: Learn about different behavior preferences and the impact those differences have on interactions and communication

Participants will discover:  

  • Different personality types and behavioral preferences
  • How their type and preferences interact with the other members of their team

Diversity: Attitudes and Age

There is strength and power through diversity. Differences among people can lead to innovation and creativity. The diversity workshop will teach:  

  • The foundation of diversity: ethics—the guiding values and principles that determine how we act and react with persons and events
  • Terminology related to diversity
  • Facts related to the changing workplace and marketplace
  • Benefits of diversity—leveraging differences to an organization’s advantage

This course is a “survival simulation” experience and a powerful learning exercise designed to:
