I want to refer you to an on-line article (in English) that addresses
Six Ways to Get Involved in the "Business as Missions" Movement.

The article is by Scott McFarlane. Here is the link. http://www.christianitytoday.com/workplace/articles/issue11-businessasmissions.html

I will list his main categories here to whet your appetite.
Option 1: A one to two week trip to train business people overseas
Short term mission trips come in many forms. The point here is that you can tailor a mission trip specifically around "business" themes.
In many parts of the globe there is a real thirst for training from experienced business people.
Option 2: Consecutive Curriculum-based Seminars
This extends option one, making it a process that continues rather than a one-shot seminar.
Option 3: Consulting with Kingdom Companies
This continues stretching the concepts of options one and two, making the international connections more personal, more one-on-one, as consulting relationships.
Option 4: Micro Enterprise Development/Micro Finance
We have discussed this and provided example on this blog of micro finance as a means to stimulate the creation and support of BAM projects and businesses.
Option 5: Small to Medium-sized Enterprises
This option raises the bar in terms of financial investment in order to grow Kingdom companies that have been successfully started.
Option 6: Overseas Private Equity
This continues the investment to still higher levels.
I appreciate this article and the range of involvement options it provides.  Read the article on-line to go deeper in any of the option categories.
I love the final heading of the article:
Don't Just Sit There, Change a Life!
Options abound.  Get connected with the possibilities and make a difference for the Kingdom from your giftedness and experience in business.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Blessings,

Larry

finance, resources

This is a topic that can have powerful links to Business as Mission.  It can offer one of the critical resources for new small businesses—money.

This link will take you to a short video clip by the New York Times.  This short report does not make the spiritual connection that is important to us, as Christians.  Even so, it shows that more and more ways are becoming popular for people to finance projects in order to help people around the globe.

After seeing this, I hope your imagination can easily reach to a process that is driven by Christians in order to help finance BAM projects.  My church, Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, TX, is partnered with a micro-finance organization in India as a part of the church’s mission outreach.

Blessings,

Larry
